The philosophy of Wonderstand is rooted and inspired by Waldorf education. The education that is focused on allowing the pupil’s true aspirations and talents by nurturing each child’s creativity and unique personality. The focus is on developing sudent’s intellectual, artistic, and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner.
We bring the same values and adopt them to the modern day while making the best use of the tools that are available today and that are opening the new horizons for the young generation.
The founder of Wonderstand is Karin Pogharian. She is a passionate Waldorf teacher whose everyday priority is to make sure that the authentic Waldorf moral and spirit are kept while Wonderstand is accepting the new possibilities that online education brings to our families.

Karin Pogharian
Founder
Karin is a passionate educator with over 10 years of experience working in schools and educational projects across the globe. She was born in Toronto, Canada into a multicultural Colombian-Armenian family and speaks four languages. Karin has travelled extensively and believes in the power of storytelling as the vehicle to touch children’s hearts and teach the universal lessons of life.
Soon after starting to teach online, Karin recognized the gift of being able to reach children in different parts of the world, and best of all have them together in one classroom. She envisions a truly interconnected world where every perspective is welcomed and dialogue is at the center. She is a certified Waldorf teacher for grades 1 to 8, graduated her class at Guatemala’s first Waldorf school and mentors teachers at Bali’s first Waldorf School.
